A new entry for my art blog! (like I would tell you my fandom and personal blogs, bleh

)
I'm happy. Well. Just that. Nah, that's not the reason I posted. Anyway, I am quite reluctant to spill those stuffs that happened between the last journ to this most recent one. Rather, I prefer that I convey them through artwork, but my series has not started yet, and I'm still deciding if I wanted it to be continuous or it'll be okay to submit in between other artworks. *thinks hard*
But let's put that aside for a while. As I was going though my DA journ, (frankly to observe the intervals of my entries) I had a view of how my life... well, evolved. I feel kinda nice. Not to mention when I found that old pencil sketch and compared it to what I learned and what I could currently do, I am happy on my progress. (note for developing artists: If you are thinking about your improvement and progress,
never base it from other artists. Do not compare. We all have different kinds of paces and different techniques in coping.)
Aaaand, I've read a journal entry of mine from a year ago. It's been a year since I'm wacom-less, hehe. But I never regret it. It made me focus on stuffs that I needed to and see more. Painting is painting the only difference is your platform. Whether it's a trad or digi, it's still
a GOODDAMN PAINTING, DAMNIT!!! You express a subject, you sketch, you color. Isn't that the same? Photoshop and painter is the same as acrylic, oil and tempera etc in drawing.
Also, it's been more that a year since I stopped regularly taking graphic design works. I almost don't do em except for some little projects here and there. But of course I have the intention of coming back on the field, I just feel the need to focus on my creativity first, illustration second, and the rest could be for later. I have an aspiration. And it's difficult. And so different from the rest of the people that they never understand but instead make fun of me, insult me for it, and never support me. It breaks my heart but until hell breaks loose from the ground I won't budge.
I'll probably open up what I wanted to say when I started that illustration series that I'm talking about. And this is probably the first time that I'll display an artwork that bares my emotion to the world. Wah.
How is work going?
Hope to see more from you soon.

May taong may baril, may taong may pag-big, may taong nalulunod sa isang basong tubig.
And thank you for doing it.

The example you gave of the watercolor art you did on bristol answered some of my questions as well.
I want to learn all I can so that I can further my own skills. Thanks again~

I don't believe in gods. I simply become one when I pick up a pencil.
Continue to develop in your craft and interest!
